The B&B
A l'Etang d'Yonne is set in a 7000 square meters garden, where a small river flows through. Detached, typical and romantic.
Once, late 1800, the gathering place for many. Locals came here to make phone calls and waited at the main entrance for the stagecoach. The horses and coachman had their own place to resume travel the next day.
The on-site grocery store, on the right hand sight after entering, provided the local population of Burgundian goodies ... For a home cooked meal, drink and of course the talk of the day, they went left into the restaurant/cafe. Too late to go home, then there was the possibility to spend th night in one of the seven small bedrooms ..
Closed for 40 years, now her doors are open again : Welcome !

by M. Niemeyer from D-88400 Biberach/RissWer das besondere Etwas in einem liebevoll abgestimmten Ambiente sucht, die stille Zurückgezogenheit und Ursprünglichkeit einer Umgebung, die der Seele gut tut, der ist hier bei einem wunderbaren Gastgeberpaar genau richtig und bestens aufgehoben.
Deren unaufdringliche Präsenz passt zu Haus und Umgebung - die Krönung ist das Abendessen (Vier-Gänge-Menü) mit ausgesuchten Weinen! Es lohnt sich das Haus mit seinen vielen stimmigen Details zu erkunden.

Die Ausstattung ist unkonventionell und charmant. Und das Essen ist ausgezeichnet, eine sehr kreative "Mittelmeerküche" à la Monique.
