The Villa
Villa Lara is a luxury villa situated in the Palheiro village, only a 10 minute drive from the centre of Funchal.
The living space spreads over 3 floors. There is a fully equipped kitchen, adjacent dining area, comfortable lounge, TV room and an utility room. The double bedroom and the twin bedroom are located on the upper level. The double bedroom comes with its own private terrace.
The master suite with emperor size bed, dressing area and large en-suite bathroom opens directly onto the spacious sun kissed terrace. The terrace comes with sun loungers, sofas and a large dining table suitable for 8 people for dining al fresco.
All the rooms and terraces are south facing and have wonderful views over the village, sea and bay of Funchal. The large heated swimming pool is only a 2 minute stroll away.

Location and surroundings

Palheiro Village is located on a south-facing hillside with superb sea views. Within the Village is the "Village Forum", a popular meeting point with its magnificent 18 m heated outdoor pool, bar and residents lounge.
The other facilities within the estate include an hotel, spa and beautiful gardens. The facilities are only a short distance away and easily reached by road or woodland path.
Palheiro Village rental guests enjoy special access to all the facilities of Palheiro Estate. The pebble beach at Garajau is only one kilometre away. There is a good choice of restaurants and bars close by.
