The Holiday Apartment
Welcome to the Salem Valley!
Our accommodation is a well equipped, comfortably furnished and well maintained apartment located on the attic storey of our home and in a calm neighbourhood. You are welcome to use the terrace and lawn/garden.
The bedroom has 3 beds (1x double / 1x single bed), a cupboard and a chest of drawers. A further single bed is in the living room, that is also equipped with a sofa, armchairs, TV and a small library. The bathroom contains a bath/shower, toilet and hand wash basin. Finally, the kitchen is well appointed with an electric cooker, fridge, kettle, toaster and coffee machine, together with a full range of crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils etc. So, just what you can wish for when spending a day 'at home'.
Duvets, bed linen, dish cloths and towels are provided, although you are kindly requested to bring your own beach towels.

It is many restaurants´ concept in Salem and the Linzgau region to only use groceries - both vegetables and meat - that were grown in the region and are mainly of organic origin. We are happy to help you finding your tasty way around!

Location and surroundings
In less than 1 km distance to the apartment there is a bakery with a café (breakfast offered there, also on Sundays), 2 supermarkets, farmers' market on Friday, post office, banks, petrol station and railway station.
Also the outdoor swimming area 'Schlosssee' is within walking distance (500 m). The large natural lake´s situation is uniquely beautiful, with a nice view to the hilly Salem hinterland as well as a spacious area with lawns, playground and takeaway.
Due to the well developed road system, bicycle paths and hiking trails the surroundings of Salem - both towards Lake Constance but also to the further inland - can be explored easily by bike and foot (Schloss Salem, Affenberg, Birnau, Meersburg, Blumeninsel Mainau). Travelling by public transport allows you also to reach sights easily.
