The surrounding area
Worth to be seen surely is the whole Mediterranean coast, but particularly delightfully the range between Hyères and St. Tropez is, further then until Menton. The beautiful islands Îles d'Or, especially the completely protected Île de port Port-Cros, to be attained by ship from Le Lavandou. The peninsula of St. Tropez offers very beautiful views on the Mediterranean Sea, don’t forget the old villages Gassin and Ramatuelle and the old oil mills of Paillas, and let yourself discover the mystery of French “Art de vivre” in the Restaurant “Bello Visto” at Gassin.
