Location and surroundings
The holiday home is located on the southern edge of Unterdiessen. The road ends just behind the house: from there, partially tarmacked tracks lead to woods and meadows.
The 9th leg of the "Via Claudia" cycle path from Landsberg to Schongau passes the house. The small and peaceful village of Unterdiessen, through which the picturesque Wiesbach flows, offers its inhabitants (approx. 1200) and guests good shopping facilities for everyday requirements and boasts 4 restaurants, 2 near the holiday home.
Daytrips can be made to historical towns such as Landsberg am Lech and Schongau or slightly further afield, to Neuschwanstein, and the beautiful Allgäu region. The Bavarian lakes Ammersee and Starnberger See are also nearby.

From the A96 coming from Munich or Lindau, leave the autobahn at exit Landsberg West and follow the B 17 towards Schongau or Garmisch-Partenkirchen. After about 10 k, follow the signs to Waal/Unterdiessen. After approx. 2 k you will arrive in Unterdiessen.
