The Holiday House
Charming historical house in the beautifull city centre of Alkmaar. In walkingdistance of the worldfamous cheesmarket.
The house has lots of nice historical details (delft blue tiles, carved woodwork, beams, rustic kitchen), mixed with todays modern comfort.
In the 1600's on the grounds there used to be a courtyard for elderly ladies. The house is named after it's foundress, mrs. Aletta Boon.

Arrival
Please enter the city of Alkmaar via the south side at 'verkeersplein Kooimeer'. Then follow the 'Vondelstraat' to the centre of the town. Turn left into the street called 'Limmerhoek'. Turn left into the street 'Keetgracht'. Before the bridge, turn right on 'Oudegracht'. The second street on your right is 'Groot Nieuwland'. The house is at nr. 34 (iron gate, red letterbox and red lantern). Ring the doorbell and we will meet your there !
