The Holiday Apartment
The holiday apartment is very well equipped. In the separate kitchen with an eating area there is a coffee-machine, electric kettle, electric cooker, toaster, microwave and refrigerator with freezer compartment.
The living area offers a three-seat sofa, 2 armchairs, satellite-TV, radio, table and chairs. There are 2 bedrooms with double-beds and a cot, and a bathroom with shower, sink and toilet.
The lawn for sunbathing in front of the holiday apartment has approx. 80m² and offers a covered terrace with garden furniture, sun loungers, a game set of boules, and a swing. The lawn is separated from the street by a lockable gate.

The holiday apartment lies in the village 'Buetgenbach' (5600 inhabitants) in the part called 'Nidrum' (850 inhabitants). This community is part of the German-speaking area of Belgium and borders on Germany.
About 2 km away from the holiday apartment lies the 'Buetgenbacher Lake' where you can do all the different sorts of water sports. Only a couple of kilometres away are the High Fens, an upland area on the border from Belgium to Germany covering an area of 4 500 ha.
Large parts are made into an upland moorland. Its highest point, at 694 m, is the 'Botrange', which is also the highest point in the High Fens and in Belgium. Many marked hiking tracks lead you through this wonderful scenery. Other cities nearby are 'Monschau', 'Aachen', 'Eupen', 'Malmedy' und 'St. Vith'.
