The Cottage
A peaceful oasis for 2 people that is well-equipped and tastefully furnished. The holiday house has a thatched roof and is located in a part of Wyk called Wrixum.
Light and friendly colours in combination with the nordic living culture result in a nice and comfortable atmosphere.
The spit, the vivid centre of Wyk and the North Sea are only a few minutes on foot away. The large living room has an open-plan kitchen and bar as well as a large dining table.
The bathroom with shower is set on the ground floor. The upper level provides the double bedroom and a reading corner and a separate toilet.
The highlight of this holiday flat is the large wooden terrace and the garden that you have access to from the living room.

Location and surroundings
Welcome to our comfortable and lovingly refurbished holiday home with thatched roof. The house was built in 1849 and redeveloped in 2007 following the historical examples. The thatched roof was then replaced, too. The only change we made was to put the entrance door to the garden.
The pot-bound garden with separate shed (with thatched roof) is perfect for relaxing and recreating.
The sea with the beautiful sandy beach as well as numerous restaurants and shopping facilities are within walking distance - so you won't necessarily need a car.
Why don't you experience the cosy ambience within historical walls in a new way? You will love it.
