The Holiday Apartment
The name of our holiday apartment 'Luet Hus', meaning 'tiny house', says it all. In this small, individually furnished summer cottage it is like that: live and cook below , sleep and take a shower on top.
It is ideal for two people! Additionally, the sleeping ground offers space for one or two kids or young adults.
The holiday house is located in the 'Branntweinbrenner Gang', meaning 'alley of the spirits-distilleries', that can be reached through the 'Engelsgrube'.
The 'Branntweinbrennergang' is located in the 'Gängeviertel' inbetween the 'Schwöneken Querstraße' and the 'Große Kiesau'. In this part of the 'Engelsgrube', one alley is right next to the other, where the one's back wall is also the restriction to the neighbouring alley. The narrow and dark 'Branntweinbrennergang' lies hidden, next to a grocery store and leads to a light courtyard.
Special features
We are animal-lovers, we ourselves own a big dog - and we have been smoking for a years. But nevertheless, please understand that the 'Luet Hus' is a non-smoker home and we cannot accept cats and dogs, in consideration of following guests.

Additional amenities
We can offer to organize a dock for a boat nearby (for a small charge), which is really rare in Luebeck. As we are also running a boar charter agency, sport-boat fans are very welcome.Location and surroundings
Luebeck- the 'Queen of the Hanse' with its many cultural treasures, churches, cloisters, brick buildings and town houses in the Old Town is listed as the UNESCO world heritage.
Only few steps away of the holiday apartment 'Luet Hus' there is the first place of interest of Luebeck: the 'Gaengeviertel', a special quarter between the Untertrave and the Koberg.
Other highlights like the 'Holstentor', the marketplace with the city hall, the museum harbour, the churches and the museums are easily to be reached from the house by foot.
Further towards the inner city, you will get to the church 'Petrikirche' (with five naves), from its tower you have a magnificent view to the Old Town.
The culinary speciality of Luebeck - the marzipan- has been produced here since the 16th century.

Even if the holiday-maker in Luebeck rather follows in the tracks of culture and history, there are many other leisure possibilities: fishing in the Trave (so to speak, directly on your doorstep), play golf in Travemünde, riding a bike all around the Old Town, swimming in the public swimming baths.

Arrival after 15.00 o'clock, departure till 12.00 o'clock or on arrangement.
Direction: Highway exit: 'Luebeck Zentrum' then turn right up to the round-about, take the 3rd exit, go straight ahead and turn right at the 4th traffic-light into the street 'Schwartauer Allee'. Then turn left at the 2nd traffic-light, cross the bridge 'Marienbrücke' and go straight ahead into the street 'Engelsgrube'
