Location and surroundings

The village Özdere was known as an "original fishing-village without mass-tourism in a romantic Bay in the Aegean Sea" many years ago. Since about 10 years it can be added to this statement that Özdere turned into a village that is also for tourists very interesting.

Nowadays Özdere is a touristic place with a good infrastructure and a mild climate during the whole year. There are a little less than 9000 inhabitants and around 3000 high quality hotel beds (small pensions and summerhouses not included).

The village is very suitable for families with children, because there are nice sandy beaches and enough peace and quiet. Nice big mandarin plantations and a hinterland with forests and rough nature characterize this nice holiday resort tha
