The Holiday House Park

We offer four bungalows (27 sqm) with one bedroom for 2 adults and 1 to 2 children (see price list below) and two holiday apartments with two bedrooms and 45 sqm living space. The apartments cost additional 20 Euro. We have our own beach at the shores of beautiful Lake Balaton. Children and dogs are welcome. Fishing, hiking, water sports and numerous attractive leisure activities are possible in the surroundings.

Each bungalow has one bedroom with double bed (1.6 m wide) and a sofa bed in the living room (1.2 m wide).
The apartments each have two bedrooms with king size beds and as well a sofa bed in the living room (1.45 m wide). The kitchenette in the living room, too.

Special features

The bedroom doors in the bungalows are 70 cm wide, for the bathroom only 60 cm, so they are not accessible for wheelchairs.

The bedroom doors in the apartments are 84 cm wide and the bathroom door 71 cm; they are accessible and suited for wheelchairs, but not according to the German standard (DIN)!

Additional amenities

Our guests can use a washing machine against a small fee (common room).

It is also possible to camp close to nature in an idyllic location; there you'll always find a vacant room for your camper or tent.

Please ask directly if you need an accommodation accessible for wheelchairs.

Smokers are allowed to smoke inside the apartments and bungalows.

Location and surroundings

The holiday resort is located at the southern shores of Lake Balaton, in the town of Fonyod, only a few kilometres from the centre.

The wonderful location at Lake Balaton with about 40 different species of fish, a medieval castle, excellent wines of the Badacsonye vineyards at the opposite shore (reachable by boat in 30 minutes), the old castle in the pheasant woods and famous poet meeting points make this place a perfect holiday destinations.

Festivals, folk dances and horse shows, many parks and small woods, but also discos, bars and other sport and leisure activities make Fonyod one of the most attractive holiday resorts throughout Hungary.

Possible route: motorway Nuremberg - Regensburg - Passau - Vienna - motorway towards Eisenstadt/Sopron (Autobahn 2 and 3) - follow the signs for "Grenzstation Klingenbach" - towards Sopron 84 - continue southwards towards Lake Balaton - pass Sarvar - around the lake - towards Fonyod.

2nd route via the motorway to Graz, via the motorway to Slovenia and continue to Hungary, there, take the motorway towards Budapeset and exit the motorway in Balatonfenyves. You have reached your destination after about 8 km.
