Ideal also for two couples or a family as we enlarged the house with "a second house".
The terrace that overlooks the lake is brilliant and offers privacy as do the bedrooms/bathrooms in the two different parts of the house.

Very much France. Ancient cities, churches and "chateaux" interesting caves. Well marked footpaths with good maps. Cycling is challenging. Good food everywhere and cheap at lunchtime. Markets are plentyful and worthwhile.

Next to the golf course. Resort has tenniscourts, midgetgolf, good places for the kids to play, and angling is plentyful in the lake at the bottom of our garden. It's lovely to swim there as well. Hiking possibilities are plentyful with good maps and well indicated footpaths.
