The Apartments

In one of the most elegant streets of Florence, nearly on the corner with Piazza Duomo, behind the lively district around San Lorenzo Church, the old Palazzo Corsi al Duomo is now completely restored and offers 8 apartments of different size, fully furnished and independent, for short and middle-length vacations.
Furnishings of excellent quality, modern and functional services, view on the cathedral from the windows, air conditioned: these are only some characteristics of what these complete furnished apartments may offer, an ideal solution for tourism – study or work-stays.

The Palazzo Corsi al Duomo has 4 floors and each one offers 2 apartments, a smaller and a bigger one.
The small apartments (2/4 pax) consist in a very bright living room with sofa-bed and a kitchen corner, a bedroom, and a bathroom. Their windows look out onto Via Martelli and from them you have the beautiful sight of the cathedral.
The big apartments (4/6 pax) consist in an entrance, a very bright living room with kitchen corner, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and one or two service rooms. Some of their windows look out onto Via Martelli and from them you can admire the cathedral, while others look out onto a very peaceful internal courtyard and onto the characteristic roofs of the ancient Florence. The second and third floor apartments have also a beautiful terrace at your disposal.
We inform you that the Palace does not have a lift.

Very near to our Palace and to the Cathedral of Santa Croce there is another apartment at your disposal, which looks onto a nice little square of the ancient Florence. It’s about the Apartment Iris in Borgo degli Albizi n°7, furnished in blue and white, the iris colours, the flower which symbolises the city and the whole Tuscany. The apartment has an entrance, a wide living room, a kitchen, a bedroom, a big bathroom and a service room.

Location and surroundings

Florence does not need descriptions about the richness and beauty of its monuments: it is a city famous all over the world.
But it is useful to remember that Florence is situated in a central position as for other beautiful cities in Tuscany, easy to reach and interesting to see. She is only one hundred km. from the see, where you can visit the wonderful cities of Pisa and Lucca, and from the Versilia Riviera, and there are only seventy km. in order to reach Siena through the famous Chianti land.
But the whole Tuscany is a casket full of jewels!

The Palazzo Corsi al Duomo is exactly in the centre of Florence and so you will have no difficulty to find the most famous tourist areas of the city, looking for the magnificent monuments, the beautiful palaces, the rich museums and the splendid churches.
Moreover, the streets of the centre are full of shops for your shopping, and of restaurants and bars for your refreshment.
For supper and after supper, you have a very wide range of opportunities!

Arrival

The Palazzo Corsi al Duomo is located in Via Martelli n°3, exactly in the centre of Florence.
Via Martelli is, in fact, one of the most lively streets of the city, which begins from Piazza del Duomo and continues towards North, in the same direction of Medici Riccardi Palace. Our Palace is the second one on your left, 50 m after the beginning of Via Martelli, nearly on the corner with Piazza Duomo: from the windows of the apartments you can admire the magnificent façade of the cathedral and the beautiful bell tower of Giotto.

It is not so easy to get there by car because it is a pedestrian precinct, and parking there is absolutely forbidden.

Anyway, there are several bus stops in the neighbourhood, so it is very easy to get all the different areas of the city.
Moreover, several busses go from/to Santa Maria Novella railway station in very few minutes (and few stops).
But from the railway station you can easily arrive also on foot, and it will take you only 5 or 10 minutes-walk, depending on how many time you will spend in front of the beautiful windows along the street!

Notes

For rentals of 2 or 3 weeks the price corresponds respectively to the 60% or 80% of the monthly fee.
PRICES: from 1200 Euro per month.
The apartments are rented for minimum 2 weeks and maximum twelve months.
Confirmatory down payment of 20% of the booked rent.
