Location and surroundings
The house is at the end of a cul-de-sac and overlooks wetlands and trees with many birds. A quiet restful stay can be assured as your hosts are retired and all our children are married and have left home.
The accommodation is within 5 minutes of the centre of Wanganui by car.
Heritage buildings, museum and art galleries in the city. There are art and craft shops including glass blowing. The North Island ski fields are about 1.5 hours away for winter skiing.
