The Holiday Apartments
The over 100-year old Chalet Baba was restored with much care in 2008. After an active fun-filled day in the snow, this welcoming house offers all comforts necessary for a restful evening.
For example, a lovely bath, a crackling fireplace, cosy places to lounge, heavenly soft beds and much more.
Exquisite arts and crafts complete the perfect scenery for comfortable winter evenings. Three apartments are available.
The Chalet has a maximum overall capacity for 20 persons.

Location and surroundings
The Chalet is situated on a prime location within the Village of Wengen with a totally unobstructed view of the “Jungfrau”, the Lauterbrunnen valley, and the other surrounding mountains.
It is quite a sensational feeling to actually experience these mountains up close! Each apartment has a balcony that faces south; on a clear day, the sun can be enjoyed all day long. The culmination of the day is when the sun sets and the surrounding mountains turn a fiery red.
And finally at this elevation, as if in a dream, cloudless nights reveal an astounding myriad of stars that sparkle like countless diamonds in the sky.
One of the many kilometre-long ski runs leads to Wengen and is located only about 100 meters from the Chalet. This means you can ski directly from the front door of the house without walking even a meter!
The train station Wengen or the cable car, which goes up the mountain “Männlichen” can comfortably be reached by ski, sled, or naturally by foot, in only about 10 minutes. The unpaved street, which leads to the house is a popular path for “Sunday strolls” and is well maintained year-round.
The access with the taxicab is practically always possible.
Food can be delivered without cost to the house.
