The Holiday Apartment

The rooms and suits provide unique accommodation, located as they are in a converted cowshed and the 'graenpesel', a former grain storage area.

All rooms have their own front door, private terrace and a distinct ambiance. The sanitary facilities, floors, colours and layout complement the room and the theme perfectly.

During the renovation, some of the original, authentic features were kept intact, such as the oak beams. You will spend the first ten minutes of your stay looking around in amazement. Impressive old beams, original tiles, exceptional sanitary facilities, beautiful floors...

Location and surroundings

Guesthouse Ensenada is located in the heart of West-Zeeuws-Vlaanderen. This region is characterised by its polder landscape, which has developed over the centuries in areas below sea-level.

Many sections of sea have been enclosed by new polders, creating dozens of inlets and coves that are the jewels of Zeelandic-Flanders nature; a paradise for many rare species of birds and amphibians.

Guesthouse Ensenada, Spanish for cove or inlet, is situated along one of the inlets.
