Villetta Maria	The vacation rental Villetta Maria is a small, most charming rural building with a terrific view over Lake Como. It was completely rebuilt some years ago and has a lot of outdoor spaces such as a garden with dining area, a barbecue which at the same time is a pizza and bread oven! A patio for your breakfast, living with open kitchen and fireplace on ground floor , 1st floor a double bed, which has an overlooking bedplatform for 2 , has a very nice little terrace. From every angle that splendid view! It is situated on the "Antica Regina" a path- road constructed by the romans, the house overlooks the village which has a small supermarket, restaurant and pizzeria. View from garden	The surrounding area Lake como is 50 km long and the deepest of Europe! It offers all you need for a relaxed or active holiday: At 8 km Menaggio with a cosy centre, good restaurants , boulevard, evening entertainment; take the boat crisscrossing the lake and visit Bellagio, Varenna, Lenno , villa Balbianello, Melzi and Carlotta, drive up the hills, discover a monastry or chapel and in the trattoria you ask for pizzocheri, misultin , goat cheese and the local wines ( Inferno i.e) Visit the market in Como, have a stroll in the old town . Hike and bike in the surrounding mountains and you may go to St. Mortiz in the high alps at 90 min by car. Nearby Lugano in Switzerland is worth a visit, so is Bergamo ( Bergamo Alto), Verona ( Opera) and even Venice

In summer and winter: hiking in the mountains, excursions to towns like Como ( 35 km), Lugano ( 35 km), Milan ( 80 km) and at 90 mins in Winter you reach famous ski resorts like St. Moritz, Madesimo, San Bernardino, Gotthard region.
