The Holiday Apartment
Our vacation apartment (80m ²) offers 2 separate bedrooms and a kitchen with dishwasher. The apartment is equipped with love and care an has new furniture and superior equipment. As of March 2011 there are insect screens installed in every room.
Enjoy your morning coffee on your private terrace with an unobstructed panoramic view of the Bavarian Forest. The breakfast sandwiches are brought directly to your apartment, plus there are eggs from our own chickens, homemade jams and jellies.
For relaxation in our sauna, there are aroma oils, salt salt for the sauna, drinks, and of course towels at your disposal. Now new: with a samovar for tea fresh.
Children are always very welcome!

The vacation apartment is located on the outskirts of the "Kiesenberg", an 8-houses-village in the Nature Park of Upper Palatinate Forest, right on the threshold of the Bavarian forest, at an elevation of 560 masl.
Nearby, you can go swimming, hiking, horseback riding, fishing and of course out for dinner and enjoy good food.
Highly recommended:
The one and only "Flederwisch" (feather duster) in Furth i.W. and the wild garden. Hillstett with its craft museum and the "Salzfriedl" at the Eixendorfer lake. The "Schwarzenburg" (Black Castle) at the Schwarzwihrberg with the "Steinernen Wand" (stone wall) and the relay path (a jungle in the forest) up to the Castle.

Wieder einfach nur traumhaft!!!

Die Gegend ist einfach nur wunderschön, die Wohnung 1A und durch die Sauna und Familie Scherr wird etwas ganz besonderes aus dem Aufenthalt.Wir kommen wieder das ist ganz klar und können nur jedem diese Wohnung ans Herz legen. Wer da war weiß warum

by R. Prager from BarbingWir haben 2-3 Tage Erholung benötigt und haben in einer Traumhaften Gegend alles bekommen was unser Herz begehrte. Unsere Kessy (kleiner Hund) musste sich wegen eines Kreuzbandrisses nach dem Urlaub einer Op unterziehen und wir wollten dieses mit ein paar schönen Wanderungen Ihr erträglicher machen, da sie jetzt 3 Monate sehr wenig Gassi gehen darf. Nebenbei haben wir genau die Erholung gefunden die uns auch sehr wichtig war. Vor und nach den Wanderungen (Schwarzwihrberg, Oberpfalzweg, Mohrlehrpfad, Goldsteig), haben wir auf der schönen Terrasse die Sonne genossen. Die Tipps was wir unternehmen können hat uns die Familie Scherr gegeben und ab der Anreise fühlten wir uns herzlich willkommen. Wir können diese tolle Ferienwohnung nur wärmstens empfehlen und freuen uns schon auf den nächsten Besuch.

by M. Klein from Sankt AugustinAls junge Familie mit 3 Kindern buchen wir die letzten Jahre immer Ferienwohnungen, weil es mit kleinen Kindern einfach angenehmer ist, mehr als nur ein Zimmer im Hotel zu haben.
Wir haben schon einige Wohnungen gesehen, aber diese war mit Abstand die Beste. Alles sehr geschmackvoll! Alles vorhanden! Eben wie zu Hause!
Wir sind von dieser Wohnung absolut begeistert und kommen ganz sicher wieder.
