The Holiday House
Our cottage is fully self contained and we have two large bed and breakfast rooms in the main house.
The cottage has two double bedrooms, one king and one share twin/king.
Each day fresh provisions are delivered to you to create a fresh cooked or continental breakfast. The kitchen is restocked daily with a selection of juices, fruit, cereals and bakery items.
The bathroom has a double spa bath, shower and vanity. The toilet is separate with a washhand basin.
A dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and cook top, crockery and cutlery, filter coffee maker and washing machine are all in the kitchen allowing you to stay in.
We have a dog, Mu-mu, who much to her disappointment is not allowed in the guest areas.
Special features
Although the Garden Cottage is not suitable for wheelchairs, our Bed and Breakfast room does have facilities for the wheelchair bound. It is always a joy to sit in the sun relaxing by our pool. Smoking is allowed outside (with a glass of wine).

Location and surroundings
We are situated in the heart of Taradale, just ten minutes from Napier, 15 minutes from Hastings and minutes away from New Zealand's two oldest wineries, Church Road Winery and Mission Estate Winery - ideally placed for all Hawke's Bay activities.
We are in a quiet back section in half an acre of gardens. After a day's sightseeing you are welcome to take a dip in the pool or relax on the deck.
There are many things to do in the Hawke's Bay - our Art Deco architecture, exhibition on the Napier earthquake at the Museum, the Gannet colony and wonderful wineries or walking or cycling around the many tracks in our region. Bikes can be hired just around the corner.
