The vacation rental
In the beautiful countryside 25 km above Amsterdam right at the IJsselmeerlake we have two luxury apartments for rent. This is a great place to stay for everyone who likes to be in the countryside and at the same time near Amsterdam. When you come home from a city trip you can relax in this quiet, breathtaking environment with all the luxury you wish for.
Ideal for a vacation and to explore the Netherlands.
There is a little beach, over the dike where you can sunbath or swim in the lake in the summer. You can take a basket over the dike and have breakfast or a picknick there. We offer a lot of extra’s, all included in the rental, such as a laundry room, a sauna, an outdoor spa and free fast (also wireless) internet access and bikes. |

The surrounding area
The apartments are a part of our house. beautiful located in the countryside at the
IJsselmeer dike very near Edam, an old "cheese’ town.

Activities
This is a very beautiful place for a honeymoon, a wedding anniversary, for writing, for reading a good book (books available too in different languages!), but if you like to be more active: there are lots of opportunities to explore the countryside by foot, bicycle or by car. You can go to the Noth Sea, the bulbfields etc. It is a great place for bird watching and if you like horses you can watch the neighbour training his horses at sunset.

From Amsterdam it is 25 km by car. There is a bus to Edam. The apartments are 5 km from the busstation in Edam. There is no public transportation, but we offer two bikes for the guests. |
