The Alpine hut
The chalet is part of the mountain farm „Knödl-Alm” and is located 500m above the main farm house. Lovingly and completely new renovated in 2010.
2-4 people will find their happiness in this two-floor lodge including a sauna made of Swiss pine.
Out of the chalet and straight into the nature.

by H. Hermann from SteyrWaren zu Weihnachten 2011 für 4 Tage im Knödl-Alm Waldhäusl, ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen!
Die Hütte ist sehr sauber (so manches 3-od. 4-Sterne Hotel kann sich eine Scheibe abschneiden!), Bad und WC sind komplett neu, die Zirbensauna ein Genuss, die Ausstattung für eine vierköpfige Familie mehr als ausreichend, die Wirtsleut sehr sympathisch, hilfsbereit und gutgelaunt.
Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder ins Waldhäusl! Diese Ruhe und Idylle bekommt man nur sehr selten!!!
Die Anfahrt zur Hütte sollte jedoch nur mit Geländewagen oder bei normalen PKW mit Schneeketten erfolgen, da bei Schneelage die Forststraße auch als Rodelbahn dient. Ideal: Raus aus der Hütte, rein ins Rodelvergnügen vor der Haustür!
