Apartments Mary	The vacation rental Mary is a charming house on the lake shore. It is a three storey building with 7 apartments.All apartments face the lake and overlook the garden.The apartments are quiet being on the front side of the building. The following types of apts (approx. 40m2) are available. 2-3 pers."studio" on the ground floor with small terrace and direct access to the garden: a large room with sleeping area (double bed and single bed), sitting/dining corner, kitchen, bathroom with shower. On the upper floor: 2-3 pers. apt with living room with dining area and open kitchen, one double bedroom with extra bed, bathroom with shower, balcony. 2-4 pers. apt. with living room with two sofa beds, open kitchen, a double bedroom, bathroom with shower, balcony
Garden	The surrounding area Lake Como is 50 km long and has two branches , one starting with the town of Como and the other with Lecco. Where the two branches meet lies the pretty village Bellagio. Lake Como is one of the most beautiful in Europe ( certainly the deepest!) and is situated in a basin at the foot of the Alps and surrounded by mountains with lovely valleys where you can hike or use your mountain bike. As Lake Como is very close to Switzerland, some of the valleys are a high-pass way for hikers ( in the past for smugglers!). In winter the tops and the higher valleys are often snow covered. The shores of Lake Como alternate between picturesque villages leaning out on the water, small gravel beaches, pleasure harbours and water sport areas for windsurfing, sailing and water skiing. Menaggio is half-way on the north-west shore and a charming little village with narrow streets, shops, restaurants , a beautiful boulevard for a stroll in the evening. From Menaggio you take the tourist boat and criss cross the lake. On higher grounds in Menaggio is the oldest golf club in Italy . Day trips to Como ( 35 km), Milan ( 60 km) , Lugano (35 km) and why not visit Venice or Verona or St Moritz?

The pleasant garden has a beautiful view on the lake and the mountains. It has picnic area and deckchairs. Please, note that most of the shores on Lake Como are gravel-rocky, so beach shoes are recommendable
