The Holiday Apartment

This ground floor apartment comprises of an open plan kitchen and living space with a window that over looks the beautiful Abbey grounds.

The kitchen with its granite worktops is fully fitted with oven, gas hob, dishwasher, microwave, washer/dryer, coffee machine and a full compliment of quality kitchen equipment and utensils.

The table and chairs are set off beautifully by the oak stripped laminate flooring. There is a cozy fireplace to sit next too whilst watching freeview Sky TV and an ipod docking station and free wi-fi

The master bedroom has a King-size bed, with high quality towels and linen all provided. The bathroom has the convenience of a powerful shower over the bath.

Additional apartments sleeping 1 - 8 people are available.

Location and surroundings

Fort Augustus is one of the most popular holiday destinations in the Highlands of Scotland, not only for searching for the Water Horse that we call the Loch Ness Monster but also for visiting Urquhart Castle on the way to the Highland Capital of Inverness, Fort William, Eileen Donan castle on the way to the Isle of Skye or visiting one of the many distilleries on the Whisky Trail.

You could walk or ride the Great Glen cycle way, climb one of the many mountains or Munroe’s, or enjoy a forest or lakeside walk.

The village is just a stroll from the apartment and has restaurants, bars and shops. The Caledonian Canal runs through the village and time drifts by as you watch the boats that make their way through the locks onto Loch Ness.
