The Cottage
This country cottage has officially been classified as a 5 star holiday home and it truly offers all the comfort you may expect from this classification.
The kitchen is fully equipped, including a fume cupboard, a dish washer, a cooker, an oven, a waffle iron and even a goose roasting tray. The cottage has direct access to the garden / snow. All the rooms are decorated with a collection of antiques. Stylish wine glasses and dinnerware ensure joyful dining for fourteen people. The cottage includes two bathrooms with shower / bathtub, a separate toilet and a guest bathroom. Apart from five spacious bedrooms, the holiday cottage also has a log sauna cabin for six people!
Inside, an open fireplace, a wood burner, a tiled stove and the modern central heating spread wonderful warmth. On pleasant evenings outdoors, the outdoor fireplace provides the comfort of your living room under the starlit sky. There is enough parking space at the house.

The country cottage is imbedded in a small colony of 21 cottages at a height of 800m. Nevertheless, it offers complete privacy. Perfect for seminars, workshops, celebrations and family meetings. Here you can experience nature in its essence.

The location offers direct access to a hiking trail network of 90 km and to an extensive network of cross-country ski runs at Rusel-Degendorf. There is a lovely sunny tobogganing slope with a length of 280m. Sledges are available. You can go on guided snowshoeing tours, play Bavarian curling or go Alpine Skiing (floodlit ski-runs at Geisskopf and Arber).
Munich, Prague, Pilsen (Plzeň) and Krummau (Krumlov) are very suitable for day trips. The Bavarian glass factories and their impressive craftsmanship should not be missed. Furthermore, practically every museum is well-worth visiting.

Die Einrichtung passt perfekt und ist harmonisch auf die malerische Umgebung angepasst!
Als wir das Haus zum ersten Mal betraten kamen wir aus dem Staunen nicht mehr heraus! Man konnte sehen, dass hier mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet wurde.
Wir würden jederzeit wieder gerne ein verlängertes Wochenende in Dürrwies verbringen.
