In any kind of weather you will have a wonderful view of the lake of Thun and the Alps. As we are situated on 1000 m/amsl, we are nearly always above any valley fog, which usually reaches 800 m or less.

Within a short distance of the Sunnebärg you will find Thun 10 km, Berne 25 km, Interlaken 35 km as well as the famous holiday Ski-resorts of Grindelwald, Wengen, Mürren, Gstaad; the Jungfraujoch, Schilthorn (Piz Gloria - James Bond 007), Niesen, Stockhorn. In addition you can visit different museums such as the Klee Museum, the Museum of Art and the Kommunikation Museum in Bern, the Aareschlucht in Meiringen etc.

Motorway A6 Berne - Interlaken, exit nr. 16 Thun-Nord, on the 3rd roundabout to Heiligenschwendi, on the next roundabout to Heiligenschwendi, after about 4 km the road will split, take to the right Heiligenschwendi/Halten, after 2 km you will see a brown signal Heiligenschwendi,
200 m more then to the right (on the left hand you will see the "Chäsi"), after 800 m left up the hill (Swiss flag in front), after the curve to the left the first house. You made it !
Of course there is a bus from the railway-station, Bus nr. 31/32, Stop Dörfli/Chäsi or Heiligenschwendi/Post. From there we have free transportation service.

Wenn man Ferien macht

by E. Bockmühl // Rohner from RiehenAm liebsten würde ich Ihnen gar nicht verraten, wie gut uns das Ferienhaus gefallen hat, denn wir möchten den Geheimtipp gerne für uns behalten. Aber es sei drum:
Das Sunnebärg-Hüsli ist klein, aber oho - so hell und freundlich und hat eine gewisse Ambience (wenn es das bei einem so kleinen Haus geben kann). Die Aussicht ist einfach großartig, und das alles an einem ruhigen Ort.
Wir kommen wieder! -

by J. Lehner from SchöftlandAlle unsere Urlaube waren einfach super. Die Gastgeber, ihre Zuvorkommenheit und Aufmerksamkeit hat uns seit unserem ersten Aufenthalt immer wieder begeistert. Die lichtdurchfluteten Räume, das Panorama und die Ruhe überzeugen uns immer wieder von neuem.
Für uns Urlaub pur. Wir freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal.

Tolles Ferienhaus

by U. Fellenberg from StralsundWir waren 2 Wochen Mieter des Ferienhauses und können nur sagen, es ist ein ganz tolles Haus. Es fehlte an nichts in den einzelnen Räumen. Die Ausstattung war ausgezeichnet und die Vermieter haben an alles gedacht, es gab nichts zu bemängeln oder zu beanstanden. Man konnte feststellen, dass Herr und Frau Najer sich bemühen auf Ihre Mieter einzugehen, ob es nun Wanderkarten, Prospekte für Veranstaltungen, wissenswerte Bücher über Land und Leute waren bzw. Fahrpläne es war alles auf dem neusten Stand vorhanden. Nennenswert ist natürlich die hervorragende Aussicht vom Balkon auf die Berge bzw. auf Thun. Wir haben eigentlich das Prinzip immer nur einmal in einem Ferienhaus unseren Urlaub zu verbringen, aber hier würden wir doch eine Ausnahme machen.

Sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Gastgeber. Das Haus wunderschön.
