This property is now being offered as an entire villa with all floors for the use of clients. Ground floor entrance hall and large kitchen, utuility room and laundery room and bathroom. Stairs to magnificent "piano nobile" with 2 really large sittings rooms and dinind room and kitchen. All furnished in priceless antique furniture and valuable wall paintings. There is one large double bedroom with bathroom on this floor and a studio room and large bathroom with hydromassage bath.
On the second floor there are another 4 bedrooms 2 with large doubles one ensuite bathroom, 1 with Hollandaise antique bed (small double) and one oom has 2 large single beds. There are 3 bathrooms on this floor in all one extremely large and beautiful. |

The surrounding area
Built at the time of the Napoleonic empire and steeped in history, the estate has endured an interesting past. At the foot of the steps leading to the main entrance there is an antique marble bath said to have been used by Elisa, Napoleon Bonaparte’s sister.
Second World War the villa was first occupied by Herman Goering’s division of the German army and then taken over by the Buffalo division of the US army. After the war it was returned to the original owners and has been lovingly cared for by the same family ever since.
The interior retains it’s original features including chestnut beamed ceilings and terracotta tiled floors. The rooms are elegantly furnished throughout with antique period furniture. The large rustic kitchen is discreetly equipped with every modern convenience and hosts a dining table with seating for 8. The luxurious and spacious lounge includes a formal dining area, a large antique open fireplace and comfortable sofas and armchairs.

Exit from motorway A11 at Lucca est and then take direction of Pisa and Pontedera SS12 continue along this road until you see the sign for Ristorante La Cecca on the left. Turn left here and follow the road until you come to La Cecca. Turn right at the restuarant and go past the church and it is the next small turning after.The gates of the villa are on the left. |
