Pic.1 The small CHORIATIKO	The vacation rental The holiday houses Choriatiko and Elia are set among the olive trees on a quiet hillside on the west coast of the island. They are well away from the road and very peaceful, some even quite secluded. All villas have a wonderful view of the mountains and out to sea, even as far as Corfu. Further more houses: Near by Petroula, Villa Milos in Kavallos, Villa Simeoni, Fotini and Iolis all with swimmingpool at the beach of Agios Ioannis, Villa Elenia with 6 apartments and two swimmingpools.
Pic. 2 the timber house Elia	The surrounding area Several paths lead from the hillside out into the surrounding countryside – perfect for long walks in the unique olive groves and vineyards which make this region so attractive. There are some shops and simple restaurants (taverna) in the nearby village and a larger choice in the town of Lefkas.
Pic. 3 living room	Activities The island offers a large variety of sport and recreational facilities apart from walking and hiking. The cliffy coast is great for paragliding and the waters below for diving and snorkelling. Long sandy beaches are ideal for swimming and bathing and the Bay of Lefkas a paradise for surfing, sailing and kite-surfing. The island has many beautiful mountain villages and secluded beaches to visit – perhaps by bike or motor scooter? Jogging, riding and tennis round up the range of activities on offer.
