The vacation rental
Makó Guest-House - that has a panoramic view - is situated next to the home of Makó-family, in green and quiet area near the center of Eger.
8 bedrooms with bath in each, a kitchen, a common dining- and living-room can be found in out house.
We can provide accomodation for max.21 persons. A garden with fruit trees, vineyards, a green park - with parking facilities are available for the guests. |

The surrounding area
The health- and cure-center with the medicinal and thermal water is accessible in 10 minutes walk. It takes 15 minutes to reach the Baroque cultural center. Eger is famous for its viticulture. A wide range of cellars and csárda can be found in the same quarter, in the so called "Szépasszonyvölgy" (vale of nice woman).
Our guest-house has its private cellar in this area, where "Cellar-parties", wine-tasting, goulasch-cooking in cauldron with the help of our guests take place.

Activities
There is the possibility to become aquainted with the sights of the Mátra- and Bükk-mountains, the open-air pools in the vicinity, that are filled with medicinal water, the well-known stalactite cave of Aggtelek or the sights of the Bükk and Hortobágy National Parks.
The owner of the guest-house will be Your guide. The above-mentioned facultative programs can be arranged right on the spot. Several either by minibus or by car or on foot!
Several other cultural and sport programs are of course available for our dear guests in our town.
