Nearby you can visit one of the few women's monastery "Aghia Irini" of the island or the Venetian Village Chromonastiri.
Russospiti In the village you will find taverns, church and a supermarket.
The area is also popular with the locals because of its good climate in about 400 m altitude and its proximity to the city of Rethymno.
