The Holiday House
The kitchen and the living room of the holiday rental are downstairs. Every room is furnished with solid wooden furniture in the rural style of the 1950s. The patterned floor tiles of the holiday rental are characteristic of this period.
The two bedrooms are located in the first floor of the holiday rental :one contains a double bed, the other one has two single beds; you have the option of setting up a third bed in that room. In the back of the holiday house there is a third room with two more beds, so that holiday rental Casa Kuraj has ample space for two to seven persons. Internet connection for your laptop is available.
The rooms on the ground floor are very comfortable thanks to the two original stone chimneys and fireplaces. In the summer the rooms are pleasantly cool. The table can seat a fair number of people.
Special features
From the holiday house, and from the balcony, you look out over a beautiful valley and see numerous hills, while in the background, on the horizon, you can make out the curved profile of the “ Alpe della Luna” (Moon Alps). The holiday house is thanks to the enclosed garden for your kids and pets suitable. The garden overlooks the medieval tower of the ancient monastery of Ville “San Donato”.

Holiday rental Casa Kuraj is situated in a quiet and peaceful place, but it isn't isolated, being situated on the outskirts of the small medieval village of Ville di San Donato, just four kilometres away from the town Sestino, in the direction of Pesaro.
Holiday apartment Casa Kuraj is situated in the heart of the Apennines between Tuskany, Marches and Umbria, at 700 meter hight. You’ll find a completely unknown landscape, with oaks and mixed forests on the Apennine mountain ranges that are divided by deep valleys and crossed by many rivers: the sources of the Tevere (the Tiber), the Arno and the Marecchia are in this region.

Ein wunderbarer Empfang

by C. Richter from DresdenWir hatten einen wunderschönen Urlaub, in dem es uns an nichts gefehlt hat - sogar das Wetter war für uns Wanderfreunde ideal.
So nett wurden wir noch nie empfangen (Kamin, Blumen auf dem Tisch,...) - und wir waren immerhin schon das 13. Mal in der Toskana + Umgebung! Vielen Dank.

Ein Haus voll Charme

by Margot Marquardt from AugsburgDen Charme Ihres Hauses in San Donato in dieser herrlichen Umgebung haben wir in vollen Zügen genossen. Wir waren mehrmals auf dem Sasso di Simone, wurden dort oben in der Trattoria jedes mal mit bestem Essen in großartiger Landschaft verwöhnt. Wir sind in kleinere und bekannte Orte gefahren, haben im Garten entspannt und fast jedes Essen auf dem Balkon mit der herrlichen Aussicht bis in die Nacht hinein genossen.

Dieser Urlaub war für uns vier ein Traum - so entspannt, die vielen freundlichen Menschen um uns herum, ein wunderschönes Haus, die Natur. Der Rosenstrauch über dem Eingangstor hat übrigens drei ganz frische kleine Blüten bekommen. Und den Tauben haben wir oben in den Brunnen Wasser gefüllt, da sie immer zum Trinken ans Haus gekommen sind...

by Laura Püschel from EschweilerCasa Kuraj ist ein sehr individuell und persönlich gestaltetes Haus, für das man auch einen Sinn haben muß. Die Ausstattung mit Spül- und Waschmaschine und allen Gerätschaften ist sehr gut, wir haben nichts vermißt. Die Steinmetzarbeiten im Haus und auch draußen haben uns auch gut gefallen. Das vorhandene Reiseführermaterial war hilfreich.

Also ich bin rein gegangen und habe mich sofort wohlgefühlt auch in punkto Einrichtung und Ausstattung. Alles ist vorhanden und völlig klar geordnet und auffindbar. Eine absoluter Höhepunkt war für uns die Besteigung des Sasso di Simone...
