Casa Pozza Tiziano is placed in a building built at the beginning of the twentieth century, it fully respects the "Libery Style" that has always characterized the architecture of the hystorical center of Recoaro Terme.

Casa Pozza Tiziano has been completely restored and is located in a peaceful spot just a short walk to the town center, in the immediate vicinity of the hot spring complex.

Casa Pozza Tiziano offers luminous and spacious apartments with every comfort: fully equipped kitchen, television, private balcony, independent heating and library, and free wifi connection as also free access point.

The splendid private garden has a wonderful view of the Piccole Dolomiti. It's equipped with chairs, chaise lounges and swimming pool.

The Veneto Regional Government has recognized Casa Pozza Tiziano as Historical Residence, as the structure is still in complete harmony with the original architecture and there is an historical sawmill fed with hydroelectric power in the basement

Location and surroundings

Recoaro Terme is located at the foot of the Piccole Dolomiti mountains in the upper area of Vicenza region. The town is famous for its precious springs and mineral waters, as well as for the possibility of recieving thermal treatments in the well equipped complex of the Fonti Centrali.

Just a short walk away from the town center a fast cableway connects Recoaro Terme with the ski resort of Recoaro Mille where you can find slopes and cross-country trials. Recoaro is the ideal starting spot for any type of summer and winter excursions.

Trails that can be traveld on foot and with mountain bike. In the winter the trials are transformed into ideal itineraries for excursions in the snow with snowshoes or alpine skis.

BY AIRPLANE / CAR : from Verona or Venice airportorts get the A4, off at Alte-Montecchio exit, follow the 246 road north direction for 30 Km.
BY TRAIN / BUS: Vicenza train-station then bus to Recoaro (bus every 30 minutes)
From Recoaro towncenter follow the roadsign for the "Fonti Centrali", at 200 mt. from the towncenter you find the Casa Pozza Tiziano on the right, nearby a big parking area.

   Auf unseren vielen Reisen haben wir noch nie solche Gastfreundschaft erlebt. Uns hat es an nichts gefehlt. Unser Husky hatte einen Logenplatz auf dem Balkon, Nachts ist es nicht zu heiß und zu den großen Touristenzielen (Venedig, Verona, Padua, Gardasee oder Meer) ist es nicht zu weit. Vincenza nicht zu vergessen, sehr schön. Die Vielfalt möglicher Aktivitäten konnten wir in der Kürze der Zeit gar nicht nutzen, immerhin waren wir auf dem Monte Spitz und am Pasubio. Erstaunt waren wir von der Vielzahl von öffentlichen Veranstaltungen in dem kleinen Ort. Alles in Allem sind wir rundum zufrieden und zum Glück kann ich gut genug Englisch.

   Es gibt nicht viele Ferienwohnungen in den Monti Lessini, einer Gebirgsgegend in die sich nur wenige deutsche Touristen verirren. Außer an Wochenenden haben wir auf unseren Bergtouren kaum eine Menschenseele getroffen.
   
   Die Umgebung ist voller Berge. Ideale Ausgangspunkte für Wanderungen sind der Passo di Campogrosso und das Rifugio Battisti. Nach Venedig fährt man günstig von der Kreisstadt Vicenza mit der Eisenbahn.
   
   Die Casa Pozza Tiziano bietet mehrere sehr schöne Ferienwohnungen. Im Leseraum steht den Gästen sogar ein Notebook zur Verfügung.
   
   Was fehlt, ist eine Kaffeemaschine, also deutsche Kaffeetrinker sollten sich einen Filter mitbringen.
   
   Frau Pozza kümmert sich sehr lieb um ihre Gäste. Wir wurden sogar mit wunderbaren selbstgebackenen Keksen und mit ortstypischen Gnocchis überrascht. Wenn bloß unsere Englischkenntnisse besser wären!
