	The vacation rental This beautifully-renovated and comfortably-furnished stone house (220 m2) with a large pool (over 20 metres long) and its own bread oven won 4th prize in "Schöner Wohnen" magazine’s “Renovation of the year” competition in 1998. It is situated in a lovely tranquil spot 4 km above the village of Cessole. The rooms are extremely generous: open living/kitchen dining area 105 m2; 4 bedrooms with double beds 27/16/16/16m2; 3 bathrooms with bathtub/WC/sink, corner bath/WC/double sink, shower/WC/sink. There are also a number of seating areas on the veranda, in the courtyard, by the pool, and in the pavilion. Children will find a large number of toys, games, books and cuddly toys in the house, as well as a sandpit, see-saw, slide and swings outs.
	The surrounding area The house is surrounded by a well-maintained herb garden with over 700 plants, including over 100 different varieties. From the pool, you have a wonderful view to the south and over the valley. There are shopping opportunities in Cessole (fresh bread from the wood stove, salami, etc.), and Cossano Belbo (wonderful Amaretti biscuits and other sweet treats, polenta flour from the mill, ...). You’ll receive detailed information, as well as addresses and tips on wine, eating, markets and shopping, once you’ve made your booking. Distances: Alba (the truffle capital) is 40 minutes away, Acqui Terme (mineral springs, and baths...) 25 minutes, Barbaresco, Neive 25 minutes, Barolo 35 minutes. The sea (Savona) is an hour away.
	Activities The leisure activities listed below are between 10 and 35 minutes away. Visits to vineyards, markets and the many local sights are highly recommended. Biking, fishing, golf, hiking, horse-back riding, jogging, open-air pool, swimming, tennis, water sports
