The Holiday house
The Chalet is set 2 km from the nearest village of Drumnadrochit on a quiet wooded, south facing hillside with spectacular views of Glen Urquhart and Loch Ness in the distance.
The chalet is all electric heating which is included in the price as is the best quality bed linen and towels. There are two bedrooms, one double room with a king sized bed and the other room with a single bed and one set of adult bunk beds.
The kitchen is well equipped with a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, electric cooker, kettle, toaster, fridge and all cooking utensils and crockery.
The lounge has satalite tv and dvd player, radio,cd,tape player and local information.
There is only one shower room with a toilet and wash handbasin. A place to feel at home.
Special features
The chalet has off road parking for 3 cars. A high chair and cot can be set up for our younger vistors on request.
We do not take pets and do not allow smoking inside the chalet.
The chalet is well insulated and warm whatever time of year your stay.

The chalet is a modern, clean, warm, comfortable and well equipped holiday chalet fit for the twenty first century living.If there are any breakages please report them to Heather and we will fix them as soon as possible.
Normal wear and tear is included in the price.
All cleaning materials are included in the chalet and a vacum cleaner.
Location and surroundings
The Chalet is set in fifteen acres of mixed woodland on a south facing hill over looking Glen Urquhart and Loch Ness. There is plenty of wild life to be spotted from the chalet and many wild birds can be enjoyed from the chalets garden.
The village of Drumnadrochit has a number of shops, bars, hotels, restaurants, boat trips, tourist office and exhibitions.
Castle Urquhart is 3km away with its vistor centre.
Inverness the capital of the Highland is 20km away with all the facilities of a large city.
This is a recreational area of Scotland and most sports and activities can be enjoyed in this area.
The chalet is also well suited for longer day trips, as centrally located in the Highlands, making trips to the west and east coast possible.

There are many activities to be enjoyed in this recreational part of Sctoland.
Glen Affric 20km west of the chalet is a national nature reserve for walking and climbing.
There are many boat trips on Loch Ness and on the Black Isle to see the Moray Firth dolphins.
There are a number of golf courses, rivers to fish, horse riding centres and castles.

Arrival
From Inverness follow the signs for Fort William on the A82.
Travel along 20km to Dumnadrochit, take the first turning right, before going over the bridge, onto the A831.
Along here 2km turn right into Milton,
along 30m turn right up lane and up to top of hill, through gate follow track to the end.

Notes
- The deposits are non refundable.
- The remaining rent is due on arrival.
- I hope to have paypal set up soon.
- I ask for a deposit of 100 paid within two weeks form booking by direct bank transfer, the banks will charge for this service.
- All electric heating, bed linen and towels is included in the price.
- In low and mid season I will vary from week lets, I charge 60 per additional night and the minimum stay is 3 nights.
- I rent the Chalet on a strictly Saturday to Saturday let during the High season.
- I recommend that all visitors take out a travel insurance policy in the event of any misfortune.

Ein superschönes Ferienhäuschen!!!

by S. Weßels from AxstedtDies war wirklich das beste Ferienhaus, das wir je hatten! Wir haben eine wunderschöne Zeit in Schottland verbracht und das Haus hat wirklich keine Wünsche offen gelassen. Es ist wirklich alles vorhanden und Heather und Steve, die Vermieter, sind unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit (wie eigentlich alle Schotten, die wir getroffen haben). Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder hinfahren!!!
