The Holiday Apartment
LA TINAIA is a Traditional Tuscan Farmhouse, tastefully converted into 5 holiday apartments sleeping 2-4.
IL BOSCO is a three-rooms apartment for 4 p, located on the top floor. IL BOSCO is comfortable, bright, well equipped and tastefully restored in the typical Tuscan style. All the windows have beautiful views over the Chianti countryside.
IL BOSCO is composed of:
Living-dining room with kitchenette;
2 double bedrooms (one of them is in the attic). Twin beds on request.
1 Bathroom.
Air cond. in the living room. Washmachine and iron in common use.
Colourful gardens with a common area for al fresco dinner and pool 11x5,5 metres with breathtaking country views.
Perfect location for exploring Florence and Tuscany artistic heritage.

"La Tinaia" allows you to experience a holiday in a family setting.
We cook dinner for guests once per week (6 persons minimum).
In our farm we produce: Chianti wine DOCG (controlled and warranted designations of origin) and extra virgin olive oil.

Location and surroundings
La Tinaia is an ideal base for visiting Florence (10 km) and exploring Tuscany's artistic and architectural heritage like S. Gimignano, Siena, Certaldo, Vinci, Pisa and others. A 10 minutes drive takes you to the Scandicci tram/stop with free car parking and from there it's 15 minutes to Florence.
Visits of the Chianti Classico, not far from the farm, to admire the beautiful landscape and famous villages such Greve, Radda, Castellina etc.

Franco, my husband, is an axcellent chef. We organize cooking class on demande. Minimum 6 persons.
Once per week we cook a traditional florentine dinner for our guests (minimum 6 persons).

Arrival
We welcome you on Saturdays in high season for one or more weeks. At other times of the year, flexible breaks are possible. You may arrive anytime after 3.30pm and we personally provide you information.
FROM MOTORWAY A1 (MILANO/ROMA):
approaching Florence exit FIRENZE SCANDICCI. Pay at the toll and take FI-PI-LI-direction Pisa on your right. Continue on the FI-PI-LI for approx. 13k. Take the exit-GINESTRA F.NA. Drive through two roundabouts direction Cerbaia approx 3.5k to SAN VINCENZO A TORRI. In front of the church on your right take the next left into Via San Niccolo. Continue up the hill approx 4,5 km. LA TINAIA is on the left side of the street.
