The vacation rental
We rent-out a free standing house with two floors which is part of an old farmhouse which was renovated in 2003. A bedroom and a bathroom are located on the lower floor. The upper floor consist of a room which is divided into a living room with balcony and a kitchen. There is a second bathroom on this floor. A gallery above the kitchen section can be used as a additional sleeping place. A staircase and a terrace connects the two floors. The total living area is about 72 square meters. |

The surrounding area
The house is situated next to a little hazelnut forest on top of a hillside. The view over the beautiful hills of the Piemont, the plain of the river Po, and the high alps separating Italy from France is magnificent. It is half a mile away from the little village Lovera and 2 miles from the picturesque village Murazzano. The place is extremly quiet and the view spectacular.

Activities
The magnificent hilly landscape is perfectly suited for hiking, cycling and mountain biking. The Piemont is famous for its excellent food and its outstanding wine. The well-known wine region of Barolo is only a few miles away from Lovera. The Mediterranean coast is only 45 miles south of here and in about one hour you can reach the alps in the west or Torino in the north. In the vicinity you can visit many beautiful, historically interesting little towns such as Alba, Cuneo, Ceva, Saluzzo, and Mondovi.

In the farmhouse there is a covered terrace on two levels with a balcony. It is a beautiful place to rest in the shade, to eat and to meet other guests.
