Location and surroundings

The apartment is located in the 2.District in a low traffic side street in the center of Vienna. Only 2 minutes walking distance to the tabor street with lots of shops, restaurant and bars.

A subway station is about 100 yards away. There you can catch the metro and get with out changing trains to the Wiener Prater a huge recreation area with parks, woods, biking and walking trails, right in the heart of Vienna.

There is also the Viennese symbol, the Wiener Riesenrad (the Large Fares Wheel) and the Wurstel Prater an amusement park with all kinds of rides, restaurants and fair like amusement. Just 10 minutes walking distace from the apartment!!

Even old Vienna downtown, the 1. District, is in walking distance (also only 10 minutes from the flat). Fantastic sightseeing like the Stephansdom, Opera house, City Hall, museums or the famous Ringstrasse or let the Bermuda triangle swallow you for a night- it is the local hang out area with charming bars, bubs and the real Viennese night live.

For a Mediterranean flair evening, take the subway to the Donau Island - an other recreation area with any way to spend the evening with good food and a look at the local scene.

The subway will get you also to most of Vienna ’s famous buildings, churches and the zoo, for example Schloß Schönbrunn, der Schönbrunner Tiergarten and the Donauturm.

This vacation apartment is perfect for travelers sightseeing and enjoying Vienna’s culture without the need of a car.

   Ein wirklich schönes, großes Apartment, alles da, was man braucht, sehr gemütlich, tolle Küche und sogar 2 Fernseher. Und wirklich absolut zentral gelegen. Sehr freundliche Vermieter.
