	The vacation rental Up to 12 people can be accommodated in the main house and the charming barn (400m²), with 5 bedrooms (18 to 28m²), 3 bathrooms, a large kitchen/dining room, sitting room with fireplace, large living room with 3 big French windows, wood stove, as well as a private swimming pool, heated to your taste. Ideal for a holiday house, the Gîte des Orfeuiles is spacious and extremely comfortable, having been lavishly restored in 2005, in keeping with the original style. Here you can spend your holidays far from everyday stress and noise. Leave your car under the car shelter and take the gravel path to the houses. Lavender and aromatic herbs beautify the courtyard, and behind the grange out of the wind, you can enjoy the sunshine around the heated swimming pool, on a large terrace with sun beds and teak furniture. So that you don’t have to worry about the children, there are no knick-knacks or bothersome objects, the swimming pool has a safety alarm and there is lots of space so they can play to their hearts’ content. A wooden barn is a reminder of a tobacco drying house. In a green setting at the edge of the forest, you have a breathtaking view and exceptional peace and quiet.
	The surrounding area Monthou sur Cher is on the crossroads of the Touraine, the Sologne and the Berry. On the north bank of the Cher valley, it is part of the Montrichard canton and belongs to the “Cher à la Loire Communauté de Communes” (grouping of local authorities).
