The vacation rental
When we first came to France In 1996 we started building our wooden house in this remote place we fell in love with, a beautiful valley in the Parque Regional de Luberon/Alpes de Haute Provence. The spot is a little "back to basics" because of life in the middle of nature.
In all peace and quiet, far away from any sounds "society" may bring, enjoying birds singing, crickets, owls at night, together with a slight rustling in the background of the clear water stream the Largue at about 50 m next to the house.
The house is located on 1.2 ha of land, free and privat in a romantic landscape.
The little river the Largue offering the necessary refreshment in its sheltered, natural surrounding.
We offer something original for those people who'd like to experience something else and who love simplicity, light, peace and quiet in the middle of unspoilt nature. |

The surrounding area
The house is situated 4 km outside of Reillanne, a 12th century village in the "Parc Regional du Luberon"/ Alpes de Haute Provence, about 15 km west of the small town of Forcalquier.

Activities
The Mediterranean Sea with its beaches; the Calangues near Cassis; the old Harbour of Marseille; the Lake St. Croix with the Gorges du Verdon; Lavender routes, Winetasting, hiking, cycling, all kinds of mountaineering, canoe etc. All to be done in a days distance.
There are plenty of Provincial Markets in the neighbourhood, like the nice little Sundaymarket in Reillanne. The biggest markets are on Mondaymorning in Forcalquier and on Saturdaymorning in Apt and in Manosque.
