The B&B
Our rooms are on the second floor of an ancient patrician palace, which is among Moneglias’ most prestigious ones.
The building has miraculously been spared from the bombings during the second world war.
The palace was the dowry of Cavaliere Fabio Marengo in the occasion of his daughter Olivas’ wedding with the future admiral Gerolamo Bollo.
Already in this period the second floor of the palace was used for the accommodation of friends in the summertime.
This means that our B&B carries on this ancient tradition of hospitality.
Special features
We welcome seniors and disabled, but the B&B is located on second floor and is not very easy to access.
Non smoking is referred only to sleeping and breakfast rooms and if other guests accept in reception room.

Location and surroundings
The B&B La casa dell’Ammiraglio is ideally located in the western part of the village, called Ponente, in the heart of the old town, only about ten metres from the sea.
Moneglia is a small seaside village, located in the centre of a beautiful landscape named Tigullio. Portofino and the Cinque Terre, the two famous and probably most popular tourist places of the east coast, the Riviera di Levante, are both only at about 25 km from Moneglia.
These loved destinations are perfect for nice one-day trips and in the summer time they can be easily reached from the sea by boat, avoiding a train trip or searching for car parking places.
As the Latin name Monilia implies, the villages’ position is privileged because of its location in the centre of a small bay, surrounded by protecting hills.
Moneglia has been known as jewel already in ancient times, because of the breathtaking views, the particular climate and the marvellous nature.

Arrival
If you arrive from North, follow Highway A12 till SESTRI LEVANTE. Then follow direction MONEGLIA via Tunnels (red light every 20'); arrived in Moneglia, fare through the main street and when you see "Bar Nettuno", turn right. You will see a big pink house. You are arrived!
