Lovley pace in beautiful surroundings
14/11/2011
by S. Krantz from Bergen NorwayThis is a perfect place to relax and enjoy life. Sivas is a pretty little village in an area full of ancient history. The climate is perfect for hiking and outdoor tours. The apartments are all suitable for both families and couples, very clean and beautifully decorated. And Maria and Michaelis are the perfect host, always friendly and caring. So whether you travel alone, as a couple or a family, this is definitely the right spot !

Feeling home staying abroad
02/10/2011
by L. Tafuri from RomaA quiet, silent place, a flourishing garden, in the middle of the typical village when you can breathe the essence of Crete. From the terrace you can enjoy beautiful sunset and the fresh breeze. Michalis and Maria are perfect householders, nice, friendly and hospitable, they can give you precious advises about trips and places to visit: beaches, cultural destinations, restaurants and typical tavernas. They are really fond of their homeland and also very generous in offering you everyday raki and fruit... You have all you need. If we go back to Crete, we have not doubt we'll return to Horiatiko Spiti in Sivas. Lea e Daniela

The loveliest place on Crete
27/07/2011
by M. Umek from LjubljanaLovely, well maintained, clean, excellent equipped property in a quiet, safe, peaceful village with an excellent choice of tavernas for eating out. The grounds are gorgeous and very well kept, the owners Maria and Mihalis are among the friendliest people ever met!
We enjoyed the fact that there was no over commercialism in this area and we felt we had a true Cretan experience. Can highly recommend this village house – Horiatiko Spiti - if you are looking for a quiet relaxing holiday.1 of 1 persons think this rating is helpful

Director of documentary films

by A. Magnussen from Bergen, NorwayThis is an amazing place. I have been to Horatiko Spiti several times, and the friendliness of Maria and Michalis makes me feel welcome and relaxed. The old house is restored by Michalis. He is an artist with an eye for delicate details. Coming into the patio I feel relaxed and happy. The flats and patio is always clean and nice. Sitting on the balcony gives peace and inspiration for my writings. I will always come back to Horatiko Spiti.

Ich werde immer wieder kommen....
15/06/2011
