The surrounding area
Lake Garda, the most Mediterranean of Italy’s Alpine lakes, with its majestic display of natural light and colours, offers an absolutely unique, all year round holiday destination. This vast blue expanse of water, surrounded by the green of the vines and olive trees, like a corner of the Mediterranean in the heart of the North, between Trentino, the Veneto and Lombardy. A place with long history and traditions, it has been favoured over the centuries by some of the most famous poets from Italy and abroad.
The shores are interspersed with towns and ancient villages whose man-made environment adds to the charm of the natural surroundings and the fascination of evidence of Roman settlements, medieval strongholds and imposing palacs.

Excellent prerequisites for a perfect stay are:
the hospitality offered by the Hotel Toresela, the traditional Italian kitchen, the mild climate from March till November, the turnings and hairpin bends for bike enthusiasts, the Garda water that allows to take a bath from May till September, the wind blowing for windsurf and sailing, the mountains allowing many sports activities (mountainbike, trekking, free climbing…), the bargains in the many shops of the old towns or the large shopping centers or the daily markets…

Once at the outskirts of Nago, continue for another 300 m until you see, on the right side of the national road, the Toresela Hotel Garni, a yellow building with attached a garden holding the historical “Toresela”. |
