The Holiday Apartments
We offer a choice of 3 cosy, clean and well equipped cottages providing accommodation for 2 - 5 people. Cottages are set on banks of river nairn with mountain views.All cottages are cosy,clean and well equipped and are central for touring the highlands of scotland.
* All rooms in all the cottages have electric heating.
* In addition to the facilities listed below, each cottage has Sky satellite (free channels), a washing machine and tumble dryer, iron, hairdryer, microwave oven.
* Bed linen (duvets), tea towels & some electricity is provided.
* Towels can be provided for those flying.
* 1 pet by arrangement (see prices)..
* All cottages are no smoking.

Location and surroundings
Set in 7 acres with river,woodland and loch walks from cottages. Lots of wildlife around cottages.
Riverside Cottages are very conveniently situated for visiting the south shore of Loch Ness which is missed by many tourists. From Farr, be sure to take the scenic Stratherrick road and enjoy the views from Suidhe Chuimen. This is the highest point on what was the old military road from Fort Augustus to Fort George. At the end of the loch, Fort Augustus is well known for its floral displays during the summer and you can also see the locks of the Caledonian Canal. The detour into beautiful Glen Affric is well worth it - the spectacular scenery is ideal hiking country and it's only 40 minutes drive from the cottages.
