pino terrace	The vacation rental The farmhouse “Santa Maria” is an old typical Tuscan cottage, fully reconstructed, composed of 3 apartments, completely independent one from another, sourronded by a wide garden with pool. Pino is 90 mtq large on the ground floor, with 2 windows door entering one into the kitchen, the second one into the leaving room supplied with an open fireplace. There are 2 bed rooms one with a double bed the second with two twin stock-beds. In the living room there is a double bedded divan, so the apartment is for 8 persons (6 2). The bathroom is equipped with shower and tab. Olmo is 65 mtq large on the ground floor with 2 windows door entering one into the kitchen, the second one into the leaving room, supplied with an open fireplace. There are 2 bed rooms with 2 double beds. In the living room there is a double bedded divan, so the apartment is for 6 persons (4 2). The bathroom is equipped with shower and tab. Platano is 45 mtq large with one windows door in the kitchen. On the ground floor there are the kitchen, with one double bedded divan, and the bathroom, equipped with the shower only, so the apartment is for 4 persons (2 2). Inside there is a stair leading to the upper floor bedroom with a window on the roof. The three apartments are furnished with taste and simplicity. Outside, in the front of each of them, there is a paved space with garden table, chairs and 2 long chairs, son umbrella and barbecue. These verandas are completely independent one another and respectively out of sight, giving guests comfort and privacy.
pino living room	The surrounding area Podere Santa Maria is situated in the centre of a little valley where the Sterza stream flows. The guests are received in a homely atmosphere, in a relaxed climate, far from streets and noise, in open countryside. The isolate position, and the distance from the streets allows privacy as well as a fully relaxed visit. Otherwise it’s possible to make some excursions on foot or by mountain-bike in the near woods of Magona (1.635 hectares close to motorized traffic). The geographic position is very interesting: Volterra and San Gimignano are very near and there are only 20 minute drive from Marina di Cecina or Marina di Bibbona beaches. The beautiful tuscan art city: Florence, Siena, Pisa and Arezzo are easily reachable in a one day trip.

Travel information

Take the motorway Genova-Rosignano. Mmo.
Exit at Rosignano. Mmo and follow the indications for Grosseto.
Take the exit for "Cecina Nord" and follow the SS68 for Volterra.
After approximately 15 km, having passed Casino di Terra, turn right for Canneto.
Follow this secondary road for 4 km when you will find on the right the sign for PODERE SANTA MARIA.
Turn right on this unasfalted road and follow the indications.
