The vacation rental
Situated right within a Bio-Farm on the Elb-island Krautsand near a sand beach are our very comfortable vacation apartments each one with a seperate terrace or a balkony with view on the Elb. The apartments are about 100 m away from the next street and are surrounded by big trees and bushes. Our own big playground with the opportunities to play soccer, play with sand or have a barbeque will be a lot of fun for your kids. The apartments have been newly furnished in 2002 and all have a modern kitchenette with glass-ceramic hotplates, microwave, dishwasher and fridge with freezer. Sat-TV, mini-stereo with cd-player and lots of information about fun activities. We will only live 50 m away from you, so we will be happy to help you whenever we can. The vacation apartments all have 1-3 bedrooms. |

The surrounding area
The Elb-island Krautsand is located between Hamburg and Cuxhaven and is connected with the mainland through two bridges.
The Elb-island Krautsand with its rich nature is especially unique because of its variety of seldom flowers and birds. That is why the tourism here is very calm and relaxing.
The view you can enjoy from the dike over the Elb and its oversea traffic is a new adventure every time.
The nearby cities give you great opportunities to explore everything there is to see, Hamburg, Cuxhaven, Glückstadt and many more are just waiting for you.
Also the beatiful walking paths over the island show you the north of Germany from its most gorgeous side.

Activities
During the summer you can swim in the Elb and get a tan on the beach.
In the village Drochtersen is a small Indoor-Pool and in Stade a big fun-pool.
You can go fishing in the Elb or in one of the various fishing-ponds.
