The vacation rental
Situated in the heart of the picturesque village of Sirok, and directly across from the magnificent local church, our house covers 3 floors & sleeps 5 people although we can supply a fold up double bed to increase its capacity to 7. The ground floor comprises of an open plan kitchen/dining room/livingroom with a high wooden beamed ceiling & cartwheel central light fitting, log burning stove, electric oven & hob, fridge/freezer, dining table & chairs, an arm chair, 4 seater bed settee, tv with digi tv and dvd player. There is also an electric heater. 1st floor: 1 bedroom with twin beds, wardrobe & tv with digi tv. Lower ground floor: utility area with washing machine, shower room with wc and 1 bedroom with double bed settee and en-suite wc. |

The surrounding area
Locally there is a bank with atm, pastry shop/bakery, local bars, grocer, green grocer, hardware shop, doctor, dentist, fuel station & 2 restaurants. Also in the village there is a post office, hairdresser & various other retail establishments. Within 25 kms there are fantastic, twisty biking roads, excellent fishing lakes, countless wine cellars with award winning wines, forests teaming with wildlife including wild boar, mouflon and deer ideal for hiking, amazing architecture, museums, castles etc etc. Only 10 minutes drive away is the picturesque village of Bukkszek with its thermal spa. Several other thermal spas with healing properties are within close proximity. The village has excellent bus links with Budapest, Eger and surrounding villages.

Within 25 kms there are fantastic, twisty biking roads, excellent fishing lakes, countless wine cellars, forests full of wildlife including wild boar, mouflon and deer ideal for hiking, amazing architecture, museums, castles etc etc. Several thermal spas with healing properties are close by. We arrange tours incorporating any of the above.

Smoking is not permitted inside the house but there is a suitable covered area immediately outside. Not suitable for disabled or infirm due to stairs. Pets may be allowed by prior discussion.
