The Holiday Apartment

Neat holiday apartment for 1 to 3 guests with roofed terrace. Parterre with separate entrance. Roofed swimming pool behind the house.
One double bedroom with wardrobe and two chairs. Living room with upholstery, dining table, TV, glass cabinet and sofa bed for one person. There is a bathroom with shower, washbasin, toilet and electric towel warmer.
The small kitchen is completely furnished.
There is a hallway with wardrobe. Please feel free to use washing machine and tumble dryer in the house.

The roofed swimming pool is opened from May to October. Lawn, garden, garden furniture, car parking, suited for physically disabled guests.

Roofed swimming pool at the house, open from April to October. Nice lawn for relaxing. Dogs upon request, 3 € per day. Golf course in 3 km, lake in 4 km distance. Ski lift and cross-country ski track in 3 km distance in winter.

Location and surroundings

The Odenwald, amidst the UNESCO Geo Park, has many things to see and do. A beautiful landscape with healthy air, numerous dreamy, picturesque towns and villages, and also several castles worth a visit.

Gammelsbach is the perfect starting point for excursions and trips to many sights that are nearby or a little further afar.

Heidelberg, the romantic Neckar valley, Erbach with its castle, historical Michelstadt, dripstone cave Buchen, baroque Amorbach, car museum Sinsheim and many more.

There are many marked trails or tours for hikes, nordic walking and cycling.

Golf course, tennis courts, public pools are available nearby. In winter, you can use the ski lift (3 km away) and cross-country ski tracks.

   wir/ mein Hund und ich, wurden super herzlich empfangen, die Wohnung ist gemütlich, alles vor Ort was man so benötigt. Optimal, um nach ausgedehnten Wanderungen zu entspannen.
   Bei schönem Wetter ist die Terrasse ein schöner Ort die Sonne zu genießen und die Burg, die direkt oberhalb liegt. Wanderungen sind egal in welche Richtung, leicht zu erreichen und auch mit dem Auto muß man nicht lange fahren. Für alle Altersgruppen!
   
   Das Ehepaar Schmidt ist wirklich ein herzliches Gastgeberehepaar, und der Kuchen von Frau Schmidt, ich durfte kosten, war lecker :-) Selbst, das mein Hund den Herrn des Hauses immer anbellte, war kein Problem und wurde toleriert.
   Alles zusammen gefaßt, ein schöner Urlaub, tolles Wetter mit Wohlfühlcharakter.

   Liebe Fam. Schmidt,
   
   wir haben uns in Ihrem Haus sehr wohl gefühlt. Ihre aufmerksame und liebevolle Art hat uns gefallen. Die kleine aber feine Wohnung, war für uns mit James ideal. Die zu Fuß erreichbare Gastronomie ist empfehlenswert. Das von Ihnen liebevoll angerichtete Frühstück, war der perfekte Start in den Tag.

   Das Haus ist sehr schön und die Ferienwohnung darin ist klein aber fein und sehr gepflegt. Sogar einen Hund dürfte man mitnehmen. Wenn wir nicht auf der Terrasse zum Relaxen saßen und den schönen Garten sowie die Aussicht auf die gegenüberliegende Burgruine bewunderten (abends beleuchtet), haben wir Ausflüge in die wunderschönen altertümlichen Orte wie Miltenberg, Erbach, Michelstadt, Heidelberg usw. unternommen, wo die Zeit stehen geblieben zu sein scheint. Trotzdem konnten wir dort gut shoppen gehen. FAZIT: Wer eine preisgünstige und trotzdem saubere und gemütliche Unterkunft für die Selbstversorgung sowie Ruhe und eine idyllische Landschaft sucht, ist hier gut aufgehoben.
