The Farmhouse
In former times our guest house was a farm ... with hayloft, stables, rooms for farm labourers & maidservants and everything else you can imagine. Around our farmyard there is about 4000m² land. In 2008/09 the whole building was redeveloped with lots of sensitiveness.
Today there are four new but homely apartments in the ancient stables. Every home has a different size. Some are for families and some are perfekt for a one-man-tourist.
Besides we have build a modern and comfortable wellness-sauna.

Every apartment includes a cooking facility and an own bathroom with shower and WC.On request the barn floor is available for rent e.g. for festivities or meetings.
Furthermore there is the possibility for washing clothes and drying them.

Location and surroundings
Our farmyard lays in a small and quiet street on the outskirts of Utecht that is located on the east side of lake ratzeburg. In this part of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania are lots of small lakes, little forests, clear air and a big range of fields and grasslands. Utecht is one of the goals to the biosphere reserve schaalsee and the seascape Lauenburg.
Furthermore Utecht is close to interesting cities like Lübeck, Ratzeburg, Hamburg or Schwerin.

by Ms. Wendler from HamburgGanz kurzfristig gebucht und hat uns super gefallen. Die Zimmer sind individuell und liebevoll eingerichtet, ebenso die Gemeinschaftsküche und der großzügige Aufenthaltsbereich.
Die Wirtsleute Apolony haben wir als unkompliziert und nett erlebt. Bei unserer Ankunft empfing uns außerdem - zur Freude unseres einjährigen Sohnes - eine verschmuste Katze. Eine Menge weiterer Tiere gab es dann auch schon bald in der Umgebung zu entdecken.
Unbedingt zu empfehlen ist das Café Eisvogel, das man von der Tenne aus bereits sehen kann: leckeres Eis und selbst gebackene Kuchen!
