The Holiday Apartment

You will find the comfortable apartment downstairs in a house with three floors, situated in a quiet part of Kokkari; the german owners of the house live from time to time upstairs in their flat.
The well furnished kitchen-living room, the bathromm with tub/shower, wash-basin and toilet as well as two bedrooms with a big twin-bed or sleeping-sofa (french mesure)offer every conveniences for 4 persons.
There is a nice little place to sit down in front of the apartment; you can enjoy the sight to the green hills near Kokkari as well as the wonderful view to the sea, just two steps higher!

Special features

Situated on a hill in small, quiet part of the village. 2 minutes to walk to the marvelous beach; also in a few minutes you can reach the "city" of Kokkari with many taverns and shops.

Location and surroundings

Most people spending their holidays here say that Kokkari on the northern side of Samos is the most beautiful place on the island. Protected of two bays, surrounded by green mountains, Kokkari kept its special charme in spite of growing tourism.
Make a walk through the small streets. take a seat in the nice taverns or enjoy the evening on the "platìa" - and have fun while bathing on the best beaches of the island.... all that you can have in Kokkari!
Samos is a paradise for walking-tours: If you start in Kokkari, you can easily reach and discover the wonderful mountain-villages Vourliotes, Manolates, Stavrinides and Ambelos.

   Wir verbrachten einen unvergesslichen Urlaub im September 2011 auf Samos.
   
   Die Ferienwohnung hat unsere Erwartungen bei weitem übertroffen. Die Ausstattung ist super, sogar Spielzeug für die Kleinen ist vorhanden. Wir haben uns vom ersten Tag an sehr wohl gefühlt.
   
   Dies lag vor allem auch an den Vermietern der Ferienwohnung, Judith und Franz. Die Gastfreundschaft und Hilfsbereitschaft der Beiden ist herausragend. Sehr gern kommen wir in den nächsten Jahren wieder.

   August 2011 in Samos - zwei außergewöhnliche Urlaubswochen durften wir bei Judith und Franz in Kokkari erleben. Ließ die Ferienwohnung in Größe, Einrichtung, Lage und Sauberkeit keine Wünsche offen, so war die herzliche Gastfreundschaft von Judith und Franz für uns besonders beeindruckend. Täglich wurden wir mit Marmelade, Obst, Gemüse, Kuchen oder anderen Köstlichkeiten versorgt.
   
   Ganz beiläufig erhielten wir tolle Anregungen für Ausflüge und Wanderungen, oder wurden in griechische Lebensweisen eingeweiht. Durch diese sehr interessanten Gespräche erfuhren wir mehr über Griechenland als bei unseren langjährigen Campingbusreisen. Ein großer Verdienst von Judith und Franz. Gerne kommen wir wieder und freuen uns schon jetzt auf ein Wiedersehen bei Judith und Franz in ihrer Ferienwohnung.

   ... eine Woche Kokkari, für mich nach längerer Zeit, wollte ich meinen besten Freundinnen endlich mein geliebtes Kokkari zeigen. Wir entschlossen uns, die Ferienwohnung bei Judith und Franz zu buchen. Was für eine kluge Entscheidung. Die Wohnung selbst lässt keine Wünsche offen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Unübertroffen sind jedoch die Herzlichkeit und Aufmerksamkeit von Judith und Franz. Wir haben uns wie in einer Familie gefühlt. Franz hat uns des Öfteren mit kleinen Naschereinen, wie selbst gebackenen Kuchen, überrascht. Eine Einladung der beiden zu einem gemeinsamen Abendessen (Franz und Judith kochen fantastisch) haben ebenfalls gerne angenommen. Kurzum, ein Urlaub in Kokkari und dann noch bei Judith und Franz, ist und bleibt unvergesslich schön!!

   Von Bekannten auf die Website aufmerksam gemacht, buchten wir 14 Tage die FeWo von Judith u. Franz.
   
   Was für eine glückliche Entscheidung... die Wohnung ließ keine Wünsche offen; Erscheinung, Größe u. Ausstattung noch besser, als die Fotos erahnen ließen, dazu die wunderschöne Lage.
   
   Das Schönste aber war die unglaubliche Gastfreundschaft der Vermieter. Oft wurden wir mit selbst gemachten Leckereien u. von Franz selbst gefangenem Oktopus verwöhnt.
   
   Dazu gab es viele Insidertipps zu Touren, Restaurants u. Stränden, die in keinem Reiseführer stehen. Die beiden machten unseren Urlaub unvergesslich.

   Für uns war es der erste Urlaub auf Samos und dazu noch ein ganz kurzentschlossener. Mit dabei unsere beiden Mädels 1,5 und 3,5 Jahre. Die Insel ist wie vielerorts beschrieben ein Traum, aber so richtig schön ist es tatsächlich erst durch unsere "Uralubsfamilie" Franz und Judith geworden. Neben köstlichen selbst zubereiteten Leckereien versorgten sie uns jederzeit mit tollen Vorschlägen für Ausflugsrouten, interessanten Details zur Insel, privat public viewing in der WM-Zeit und einer ganz warmherzigen Atmosphäre.
   
   Die Wohnung war in allen Belangen perfekt - wir freuen uns aufs nächste Mal!!!
