The beautiful, comfortable vacation apartment on two floors is located in a typical, traditional house in the Old Town of Orta San Giulio.
It is located in a pedestrian alleyway (the oldest of Orta San Giulio), in the third and last floor (without elevator), only 100 meters remote of the lake and to the main square, piazza Motta which is called the living room of Orta.
The apartment is quiet and sunny and was renovated completely with extensive use wood. The apartment is fitted out very attractively.
Occupancy: 2 to 6 persons.
The arched windows with old granite columns can be moved and facilitate a marvellous view over the stone roofs of Orta San Giulio up to the lake.

Available for 2-6 persons directly from the landlord at favourable prices.

Living room with couch where two persons can also sleep on, separate kitchen, bath with shower, toilet and bidet.
Over the stairs you get to the gallery with two sleeping areas (1 with double bed, 1 with 2 single beds) also a crib for kits up to 6 years of age is available. Toilet.
The apartment is fitted out very attractively and comfortably. Cookware, plates, coffee machine, SAT-TV, electric iron, hairdryer, washing machine and cleaning equipment are available. Bed-linen and towels have to be brought (it is also possible to hire them).
The parking lots are 300 m way because the old town in a pedestrian percent and has therefore no parking lots and can just be used with the car for loading and unloading the luggage. Privategarage on payment near the falt.

Location and surroundings

ORTA, an unforgettable dream!
A vacation at the Lake Orta is diving into the past, a walk through the time. Friedrich Nietsche already devoted his philosophical thoughts at the lake which is west of the Lago Maggiore. The lake Orta still remains to be a tip under experts and enthusiasts and today natives and visitors enjoy certainly the mild climate and silence. A visual highlight of Orta San Giulio is the west shore of the lake with its old palaces and mansions, the parish church and its city hall of the 16th century adorned with arcades.
The centre of Orta is a pedestrian precinct, where driving is permitted only for loading and unloading of goods. In the alleyways you can find rustic restaurants and shops. Across from the town lies the island "San Giulio" with its Romance basilica from the 5th century, that stands in the middle of terraced gardens.
Shops, restaurants and cafes are nearby.

With the car:
from Milan (80 km): Freeway N. A4 (Milan/Turin) to Sesto Calende, then continue on freeway N. A26 (to Gravellona Toce) and exit in ARONA. Take the highway N. 229 in the direction of Borgomanero – Gozzano - ORTA San GIULIO

via St. Gotthard, Locarno and Brissago (along the Lake Maggiore) by Verbania to Omegna, Pettenasco and ORTA San GIULIO (takes approx. 3 hours from Zurich)

from Domodossola (45 km) take the highway to Gravellona Toce, Omegna and ORTA San GIULIO.
