The Villa

All areas in the house are air-conditioned! The further equipment: washing machine, ironing board with irons, vacuum cleaners, baby equipment, child highchair, child pool, sun beds in the garden, garden furniture, natural stone grill and a safe.The house has three bedrooms, a large living room with kitchen as well as a storage chamber (with all cleaning agents).Two of the bedrooms are in the ground floor and are equipped with a double bed and/or two single beds. In the upper floor there's a sleep/living area for its own (the third bedroom/double bed). Windows are provided with shutters, all bedrooms have their own terrace.At Villa Charula you will find in addition two baths: one in the ground floor equipped with washbasin, tub, shower/wc.

Special features

Towels for personal hygiene, dish cloths, linen and blankets are placed. The minimum renting period is 7 days, arrival and departure day should on Saturday if possible (or according to agreement). Your local contact speaks German, English and Greek.

Location and surroundings

Pitsidia has kept its originality and the inhabitants are well known for their typical Cretan hospitality. Although many artists found a new home here, agriculture is still the main source of income of the village.Olive trees and the production of the oil, cultivation of wine and also the fishery still define everyday life. In many small businesses you can buy these products.Pitsidians however also like to celebrate. High spot of the year is Orthodox Easter.But also weddings will be celebrated together with the priest, the families of the newly married couple and nearly the entire village, what will often end in a guest crowd of 1000 persons or more.Then lamb will be served, wine from the region and of course the"Cretan National Drink" Raki

With view from the cosy and spacious terrace over » Pitsidia you can spend beautiful holidays at Villa Charula. The free standing house with private garden lies on a small hill. It is best suitable for couples and families with high demands, looking for peace and recovery. To Komo Beach, one of the most beautiful sandy beaches of Crete, it's only 800 m.
